Esme
Esme grew up on the south shore of Long Island in the town of Islip. She lived near the water because her papa was a fisherman.
Summers were spent on the family fishing boat helping out whenever and wherever she was needed. The days were long but so rewarding and the smell of the Atlantic Ocean was intoxicating. When the work was done and she could have time with her friends they would meet at Nicky’s Clam Bar, order up some clams and oysters while waiting for the Fire Island ferry. Her absolute favorite though were the fried soft shell crab sandwiches when they were in season.
Esme met Vivienne during this Bergdorf 2012 Holiday Window Display assignment and they became inseparable. They had a lot in common since both their displays had an added element of light reflecting on them as they posed. Esme told Iher friends that the light reminded her of how the sun felt on her face when she was out on the ocean in her papa’s boat.
